Kevin Yessian

Vice President, Advisory Services

A veteran senior executive in the energy industry, Kevin Yessian brings to Lightbridge an expert understanding of the back end of the nuclear fuel cycle in addition to extensive knowledge of all the key suppliers and costs associated with running a fleet of nuclear reactors.

Before joining Lightbridge, Mr. Yessian served from 2004 to 2007 as president and chief operating officer of Holtec Manufacturing (formerly U.S. Tool & Die), which specializes in the fabrication of components for nuclear power generation and waste management. Under his leadership, the company restructured to meet international growth targets and implemented quality and productivity initiatives, resulting in a superior market position. From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Yessian served as vice president for nuclear supply management at the Exelon Corporation, the largest producer of nuclear energy in the United States. In addition to managing his division’s budget, he was responsible for the corporate supply function addressing nuclear generation and oversaw purchasing, inventory and warehouse management, supplier evaluation, quality control, procurement engineering, investment recovery, and supplier diversity. Mr. Yessian has been recognized for his contributions in driving process improvements and sustainable cost reductions for the Exelon Supply organization; he was a key member of the executive management team that achieved one of the most significant turnarounds in the history of nuclear energy in the United States. Throughout his career, Mr. Yessian has been responsible for developing complex process facilities, including multiple greenfield power generation plants.

Mr. Yessian completed the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Program for Executives and earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and finance from Wayne State University. He has been with Lightbridge Corporation since 2008.
