Item 8.01 Other Events.

 

On August 24, 2026, the Idaho National Laboratory (“INL”) issued a press release announcing, among other matters, that Lightbridge Corporation (the “Company”) has been selected to participate in the Nuclear Energy Launch Pad Program, the U.S. Department of Energy initiative administered by the National Reactor Innovation Center at INL.
